At least 675 needy Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) students in Nakuru County have hopes of accomplishing their education dreams after they received scholarships from the government Elimu scholarship programme during the launch held at St Monica Catholic Church in Nakuru City.
The students will now join Form 1 as they will be sponsored fully for four years of secondary education. Nakuru County Director of Education Fred Osewe urged girls beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunities and avoid early pregnancies.
Equity Bank Regional Commercial manager in charge of Rift Valley, Stanley Karanja urged students to maintain high levels of discipline if they hope to succeed in their education journey.
