Adan Mohammed sworn in as new KRA commissioner general

Former cabinet secretary and President William Ruto’s economic strategist, Adan Mohammed, has been sworn in as the new Kenya Revenue Authority commissioner general. He was appointed through a gazette notice by Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi, replacing Humphrey Wattanga. He has pledged to simplify taxation and reduce compliance costs.
