A police officer from Keroka police station in Nyamira who was on duty in Kisumu during Azimio demonstrations yesterday and was injured by demonstrators has died. Corporal Ben Oduor succumbed to injuries inflicted on him by demonstrators who used a catapult to hurl stones at the officers. At the same time, traders in Kisumu and Nairobi are counting losses, after their businesses were looted by goons during the demonstrations.
