The Government of Australia now says it will work with Kenya to ensure there is lasting peace in areas that have been witnessing rising cases of insecurity as a result of banditry attacks and cattle rustling. Speaking during a peace forum in Turkwel, West Pokot County Australian High Commissioner to Kenya Luke Williams lauded the government and other peace actors in their efforts to bring together the Pokot and Turkana communities.
