Lencer Achieng, popularly known as Mama Pendo, has said the newly launched Baby Pendo Park in Kisumu honours the memory of her daughter, who died during the 2017 post-election violence. She has described it as a symbol of remembrance, justice and healing while expressing hope that no other family will endure a similar loss.
