BARINGO STAKEHOLDERS CALL FOR MORE SAFE SPACES AS FGM CASES REMAIN HIGH

Stakeholders in Baringo County have expressed concern over the lack of adequate rescue centers and safe spaces for survivors of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), saying the challenge is slowing down efforts to eliminate the harmful practice. The concerns were raised during the launch of the County Anti-FGM Steering Committee in Kabarnet town.
