South African Benny Mccarthy has been unveiled as the new coach of the national football team, the harambee stars. The south african has been hired on a two-year contract, paid for by the government of Kenya through the ministry of sports. Mccarthy is coming in with two assistants, Vasili Manousakis, and Moeneeb Josephs as the goalkeeper trainer. Piela Maposa will be the performance assistant. There is no Kenyan in the technical bench of the harambee stars.
