Bishop Lelei installed as first bishop of Kapsabet Diocese

Catholic Bishop John Kiplimo Lelei has officially been installed as the first bishop of the newly created Kapsabet Catholic Diocese. The historic ceremony, presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio in Kenya Archbishop Hubertus Van Megen, brought together President William Ruto, top political leaders, and thousands of faithful at the Eliud Kipchoge Stadium in Kapsabet. In his sermon at the Installation,the Nuncio urged leaders to exercise authority but avoid abuse of power.
