The Government and sponsors have been urged to start a programme of providing starter kits to trainee graduates of Vocational Rehabilitation Centres (VRCs) in the country upon their graduation.
The starter kits are vital in enabling trainees to start income generating activities immediately they graduate from those institutions.
Speaking to KNA on Wednesday, the Principal Technical Instructor of Kakamega Vocational Rehabilitation center, Peter Oluasi Oremo, said lack of startup kits is making it challenging for graduates to utilize their skills making it difficult to transform their lives.
