Calls intensify for formulation of a common regional migration policy

The government has expressed its readiness to adopt, integrate and harmonize a regional migration policy into the amended 2023 climate change act. The Deputy Director and head of environment policy Dominic Mumbu says the move will reduce migration conflict triggered by a fight for resources owing to climate change.
