Cherargei, Kajwang, Sifuna and Mwaruma accused of extortion by governors

The council of governors has publicly named and shamed four senators, accusing them of extortion, political witch-hunt, intimidation, and harassment of governors appearing before the Senate’s county public accounts committee. The governors want senators Moses Kajwang, Edwin Sifuna, Samson Cherargei, and Johnes Mwaruma removed from the committee and are threatening to boycott appearances until the Senate leadership takes action.
