Children homes to be phased out by 2032

Kenya is set to fully transition to foster care by 2032 enabling children to be raised in families and communities as opposed to being raised in children homes and Charitable Children Institutions (CCIs). Foster parents will be recruited to raise children who have separated with their families for either short or long period of time.
