Citizen TV has cemented its dominance as Kenya’s most-watched television station, according to the 2025 State of the Media Report Survey unveiled during the World Press Freedom Day 2026 celebrations.
The survey shows, that Citizen TV commands a 56 per cent audience share, maintaining a clear lead over its closest competitors. NTV Kenya, KTN, Inooro TV and TV47 who complete the top five most-watched stations. In radio, Radio Citizen continues to dominate listenership, underlining the sustained strength of Royal Media Services platforms. The report also points to a sharp decline in newspaper readership, dropping significantly from 29 per cent to just 13 per cent.
