Orengo forced out of burial as chaos erupts in Kisumu County

Chaos erupted at the burial ceremony of the father of Seme MP James Nyikal, with a section of mourners demanding that Siaya Governor James Orengo exit the funeral before the ceremony proceeds. A scuffle ensued, forcing the governor to leave the burial venue as youth chanted “two-term” slogans. The Siaya governor, who had last week declared himself the ODM party leader, has since condemned the incident in Kisumu County.
