Water experts have warned that the escalating water shortage in Kenya's semi-arid regions is primarily due to climate change and a rapidly growing population.A team from the Center for Training and Integrated Research for ASAL that was in Maralal highlighted the urgent need for water conservation and sustainable practices. The meeting brought together stakeholders from the counties of Nyeri,Laikipia, Samburu, Isiolo, and Meru to create awareness on the sustainable use of water among neighboring communities.
