3-WEEK CLINICIANS STRIKE
Clinical services have almost been brought to a halt in public health facilities across the country, with clinicians vowing to stay away until the government heeds their demands. For more than 22 days now, the clinical officers and the Ministry of Health have been unable to find a workable solution to the crisis that has left many Kenyans desperate for care. The clinicians, through their union, say the government has refused to engage them in talks to end the strike.
