Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha has faulted individuals she says are attempting to paint the Ministry of Health in bad light following the occupy MOH demonstrations.In a 11 point statement, Nakumicha says he ministry has held open and candid discussions with union officials and interns representatives calling on the interns to report to their internship centers pending the resolution of the package. Further the CS revealed as at today, the number of interns awaiting posting across the cadres was 3,760 with a total budget of 4.6 billion shillings. However due to the budget ceiling the ministry received an allocation of 3.7 billion shillings in the Financial Year 2024/2025 for internship.
