At least 1,180 candidates have had their 2025 KCSE examination results canceled after being found to have engaged in examination irregularities. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba, speaking during the release of the results at AIC Chebisas Boys High School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, said the decision follows investigations by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), which identified cases of malpractice. Reports of suspected malpractice were raised during the examination period, prompting investigations in line with existing laws and examination regulations.
