Persons with disabilities drawn from nomadic regions are calling for their meaningful engagement in public decision making processes that affect their livelihood and their access to opportunities in different avenues. The disabled persons from pastoralist families are faced by the uniqueness of their communities being mobile in nature and are therefore looked at as a burden by their caregivers, this in the long run affecting their mental health.
