Do you know the origin of African Union Anthem?

An anthem often creates a sense of patriotism and pride for one’s nation reminding the people of their state’s glory and rich heritage. In the Kenyan national anthem, such ideals are well known of, as most nationals can sing at least one if not all the three stanzas of the anthem. But as Lucy Kamau found out, this can hardly be said of the African Union anthem. Most Kenyans are not aware of it let alone the African Union itself.
