A section of dockworkers' union members has defended Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Managing Director Captain William Ruto against corruption allegations linked to an Sh8 billion road project at the Port of Mombasa.
The group dismissed claims that the KPA boss was involved in procurement irregularities, describing the allegations as baseless, politically motivated, and harmful to investor confidence. They urged anyone with credible evidence to report the matter to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) instead of making accusations on social media.
