Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is tonight sustaining claims of a resurgence of the outlawed Mungiki sect and has linked the alleged resurgence to former President Uhuru Kenyatta. Speaking in Nakuru, Gachagua warned that security agencies will firmly deal with the illegal sect and accused retired President Kenyatta of quote, placing young men in harm’s way. Gachagua, together with Interior CS Kithure Kindiki said the government is prepared to put on check what they termed a resurgence of a dangerous and outlawed group.
