Duale dismisses Gachagua claims on SHA finances, vows KSh13B hospital payout

Health cabinet secretary Aden Duale and dcp leader Rigathi Gachagua are back at it again over the status of the SHA. While Gachagua maintains claims that the national medical scheme is on the brink of collapse, Duale defended the stability of the health scheme, insisting it is fully operational and delivering services to millions of Kenyans. The CS outlined the scheme's financial sustainability, saying it has already raised 169 billion shillings from contributors, and paid 130 billion shillings to health facilities, and asked the former deputy president to stop inciting Kenyans.
