The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has this morning arrested 7 out of 13 suspects over corruption charges relating to 58.56 million shillings procurement fraud in the County Government of Isiolo. The commission affirmed that the probe is about a tender for the supply and delivery of a fire engine corruptly awarded to Drescoll Limited in the Financial Year of 2018/2019. The suspects will be arraigned before the Isiolo Anti-Corruption Court tomorrow. Here is our reporter Abdiaziz Hashim with the details.
