The Elections Observation Group has raised concerns over alleged voter bribery, campaign violence and voter inducement ahead of Thursday's Ol Kalou by-election, warning that the practices could undermine the credibility of the poll.
ELOG says it documented several incidents during the campaign period and has submitted its findings to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. The observer group says it is now up to the commission to determine whether the by-election should proceed as scheduled.
