Energy chiefs resign amid fuel import scam probe

Petroleum principal secretary Mohamed Liban, Kenya Pipeline Company managing director Joe Sang, Epra director general Daniel Kiptoo, and deputy director of petroleum economic analysis Joseph Wafula have resigned from their positions a day after their dramatic arrest and detention. Another official, Joel Mburu, who is the supply and logistics manager at kpc is facing administrative action for his involvement in the scandal, likely to cost taxpayers more than 8 billion shillings.
