The Institution of Engineers of Kenya has submitted their concerns about development approval delays in Nairobi County before the Planning Committee of the Nairobi County Assembly. Appearing before the committee, the president of the institution, Engineer Shammah Kiteme, said the delays have hindered its members from tracking the progress of their submissions, leading to uncertainty and frustration. Kiteme called on the county government to collaborate with engineers in resolving the bottlenecks that exist and pledged the institution’s support in identifying and fixing gaps in the system.
