Family holds mock burial for Kenyan killed in Russia–Ukraine war

The family of a 40-year-old Kenyan, Oscar Mutoka, who was killed in the Ukraine–Russia war in August last year, held a mock burial in Busia County on Saturday to pay their last respects to their kin. The late Oscar Mutoka, a former soldier, left the country in June 2025 in search of greener pastures but died months after his recruitment into the Russian army.
