The family of Kenya’s celebrated athletics legend Hezekiah Nyamao who passed away at a hospital in Nakuru County at the age of 88, following a long battle with cancer is appealing for assistance to settle his medical bills.The Olympic gold medalist was part of Kenya’s celebrated 4x400m relay team alongside Charles Asati, Robert Ouko, and Julius Sang. His stellar performance earned Kenya gold at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games and silver at the 1968 Commonwealth Games in Mexico.
