A former Chief Executive Officer of National Hospital Insurance Fund Richard Kerich & four others have been set free in the 116 Million shillings corruption case. The former NHIF boss and his co-accused were accused of allegedly paying the amount to Meridian Medical Centre Limited in 2011. Trial Magistrate Eunice Nyutu said that the prosecution did not provide sufficient evidence to prove that the money was paid to the medical centre.
