Four national assessments of learners pioneering the Competency Based Education Curriculum have commenced involving over 3.4 million learners across the country. These are the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment KPSEA for grade 6 and the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) for grade 9 learners, alongside the Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA) for learners with special needs, and the Kenya Pre-Vocational Level Education Assessments (KPLEA) for learners transitioning to vocational level.
