Four people trapped in South C collapsed building

SOUTH C BUILDING COLLAPSES One person is admitted at Mbagathi Hospital while rescue efforts continue after a multi-storey building under construction collapsed at South C Nairobi County in the early hours of Friday morning. Speaking after visiting the scene of the tragedy along Muhoho Avenue, Special Programmes Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku said at least four people including security guards and pedestrians are believed to be trapped in the rubble, as government launches investigations into what occasioned the incident which has also raised serious questions about compliance and enforcement of building standards in the Country.Joseph Wakhungu reports.
