Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has waded into the Kenya Uganda now cancelled government to government fuel controversy, saying recent remarks by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni over the same have vindicated his longstanding concerns about Kenya’s own Government-to-Government (G-to-G) fuel deal. Gachagua, who has been vocal in his criticism of the arrangement, said Museveni’s revelations about Uganda buying petroleum products through middlemen in Kenya had reinforced concerns he had previously raised. Gachagua further accused President William Ruto of being aware of the underhand dealings in the fuel importation arrangements
