Gachagua calls for Nakuru security overhaul after cleric’s murder

DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has called for an overhaul of Nakuru’s security team following the murder of Rev. Julius Ngari Ndumia. He accused officers of negligence despite rising crime and public outcry. Speaking at the burial of the slain cleric in Tetu, Nyeri County, Gachagua urged the Interior Ministry to ensure clergy safety and deliver justice for the killers. Two suspects will remain in custody for 21 days as the investigation continues.
