The Kenya Kabaddi Premier League season has officially concluded, with Githurai Cheetahs and JKUAT Starlets crowned the men's and women's champions.
Githurai Cheetahs edged Black Falcons 33-31 in a nail-biting men's final played at Kasarani Stadium.
JKUAT Starlets had an easier time, defeating Nairobi University 24-19 to clinch the women's title.
The concluded season marked an improvement from previous campaigns, with the men's league featuring 170 matches and the women's league 70.
Attention now turns to a busy international calendar running from August to December 2026, beginning with the Africa Cup of Nations in Zanzibar this August.
