A family from Magenche Ward, Bomachoge Borabu Constituency in Kisii county is seeking justice after unknown assailants raided their homestead and destroyed property worth millions of shillings. demanding money for the sale of an illicit brew, thinking that he was still engaging in that business. He claims to have opted for timber lumbering instead of illicit brew which he claims, subjected him to losses of upto 30,000 shillings in bribes to administrators and other individuals to abet the illegal trade.The local administration is now being accused of turning a blind eye on crime in the area.
