Goonism has emerged as a major security concern in Homa Bay County, prompting authorities to announce tough measures against individuals found in possession of crude weapons or engaging in violent political activities. Homa Bay County Commissioner Ronald Mwiwawi has now issued a warning that anyone found carrying machetes, pangas or other crude weapons will be treated as a criminal regardless of political affiliation or backing.
