Government hints at changes in KTDA leadership amid outcry over tea bonus disparities

    Following huge discrepancies in this year’s tea bonus payouts, the ministry of agriculture has hinted at making changes in the leadership of the Kenya Tea Development Agency, as frustration among tea farmers continue to stir disquiet. Agriculture principal secretary Paul Ronoh while speaking in Kericho accused Current directors of the tea agency of sabotage, as government moves to implement reforms in the Tea sub sector. KTDA has in response asked the PS to keep off the agency, as it accused him of deliberate efforts to meddle with its mandate
