Government launches Malaso Valley security operation

The government has launched a major security operation to flush out bandits from the volatile Malaso Valley following renewed attacks in the region. Speaking during the announcement, Abdi Hassan said the operation is aimed at dismantling criminal networks, recovering illegal firearms and restoring lasting peace and security in the valley.
