Government receives medical equipment from German gov’t

First lady Rachel Ruto has presided over the handover of medical equipment worth Ksh 65 million donated by the German government. The equipment donated including 3 fully equipped mobile clinics and four refrigerators were handed over to 7 ASAL counties, and is aimed at upscaling the delivery of health services in far flung counties. Health CS Susan Nakhumicha has thanked the German government for the donations, saying it aligns with the government's focus on preventive health. Nakhumicha says the fully equipped mobile clinics will boost vaccination rates among children in marginalised areas. The medical equipment have been handed over to Baringo, Samburu, Turkana, Isiolo,Mandera, West Pokot and Marsabit counties.
