Government to upgrade 32 stadiums into multi-purpose venues

The government is upgrading 32 stadia across the country into multi-purpose venues for both sports and the creative economy. President William Ruto says the stadia will include commercial spaces for income generation and create more job opportunities. While hosting AFC Leopards at State House Nairobi on Wednesday, the President said collective responsibility is key to building sports, especially football, which has great potential.
