Governor Jama sounds alarm over worsening drought in Garissa

Garissa Governor Nathif Jama has raised alarm over the rapidly worsening drought situation in the county, calling for urgent and coordinated action from all stakeholders and partners. Speaking outside his office after a crisis meeting with both National and County Government Representatives, Jama said the drought is already having devastating effects on communities, livestock, and livelihoods across all sub-counties.
