Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza is now facing yet another impeachment attempt after Members of the County Assembly tabled an impeachment motion on Wednesday afternoon. This comes just a day after Njuri Ncheke Council of Elders withdrew from the mediation process referred to them by the Meru High Court. MCAs also had withdrawn the notice of impeachment motion on Tuesday in a scheme to beat the court case blocking her ouster only to reintroduce the motion.
