The Council of Governors has told the Senate Finance & Planning Committee that it urgently requires an additional 5.8 billion shillings as part of its Annual Revenue Allocation Share to Mitigate the ongoing Doctors' Strike. While appearing before the Parliamentary Public Finance Watchdog, COG reiterated that it will not accept anything short of its 450 billion shillings allocation demand for the 2024/2025 financial year.
