PUBLIC BENEFIT ORGANIZATIONS ASKED TO OPERATE WITHIN THE LAW
Public Benefit Organizations(PBOs) have been urged to operate within the law as they discharge their functions.
Board Chair of the Public Benefits Organizations Regulatory Authority (PBORA), Moses Mwambu Mabongah, warned that those who flout the rules that govern their operations will be deregistered.
He was speaking in Kakamega during a public participation forum on the Draft Public Benefit Organizations Regulations, 2025.
He said PBOs are critical and the regulations are meant to provide a conducive environment for their operations as they support the government in meeting its development objectives by transforming the lives of community members.
