Gov’t apologises over killing of 2 protesters in Embu, promises compensation to the families

The government has moved to assure families in Mbeere North that justice will be served following the tragic deaths of two young people during recent demonstrations at Ishiara. Speaking during the burial of Morris Mugo in Ishiara, Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes Geoffrey Ruku conveyed the government’s commitment to ensuring accountability.
