Gov’t to help families that have lost loved ones during anti-gov’t protests

President William Ruto is now calling on the courts to release of all those wrongfully arrested during the protests that have rocked the country in the past few weeks. In his address to the nation at Statehouse earlier today, president Ruto urged the criminal justice agencies to take effective measures to ensure people who may have been innocently caught up on the wrong side be released and the charges against them withdrawn. The government will also offer necessary support to those who lost their loved ones and also extend a hand to those whose businesses were destroyed during the protests.
