The government will map out rivers that are flooding as a result of the ongoing heavy rains to harness the water for agricultural use.Water and Irrigation Principal Secretary Ephantus Kimotho said his department will build several dams and water pans along rivers prone to flooding to reduce water wastage, destruction of property and even loss of lives. The PS added that 80 percent of the project is already done and the remaining 20 percent will cost sh 40 million to complete.
