Group of youth in Nyeri rallies residents to register as voters

In Nyeri County, a group of 10 youth has embarked on a mission to drive voter registration upwards, moving street to street, and visiting places of work, to sensitize their peers not only on why the need to register, but also how to vote, after the county recorded only 30 new voters since the exercise begun earlier this week according to the IEBC and as Kamau Mwangi reports, the electoral body recorded 7,048 new voters in it’s first week of the exercise
