Stakeholders have raised concern over the growing challenge of menstrual health and hygiene among girls, noting that lack of access to sanitary pads—particularly among Somali girls—has significantly contributed to school dropouts in the region.
This came out during the official launch of the Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) 2026 phase one of its flagship #AchieveMoreGirl programme.
